Minecraft is a game about breaking and placing blocks. At first, people built structures to protect against nocturnal monsters, but as the game grew players worked together to create wonderful, imaginative things.

It can also be about adventuring with friends or watching the sun rise over a blocky ocean. It’s pretty. Brave players battle terrible things in The Nether, which is more scary than pretty. You can also visit a land of mushrooms if it sounds more like your cup of tea.

Minecraft is an open world game with no specific goals to accomplish which gives the player the opportunity to play the game however he likes, from building a house and living a peacefull life to exploring and fighting the evil creatures like zombies,skeletons and spiders.

The game offers two modes:

1.Survival mode

In this mode players have to gather resources ,such as wood,stone,ores,etc. found on the surface enviorment or in the caves. The player has to survive,build a house and explore the infinte world the game has to offer. Survival mode features a health,hunger and armor bar. Various items can be crafted in survival mode , such as food,armor,blocks,tools,weapons,etc.

• Health: depleted by attacks from monsters, falls, drowning, falling into lava, suffocation and starvation.
• Hunger: must be periodically refilled by eating food in-game, else leads to starvation.
• Armor: mitigates damage from attacks.
• Weapons: increase damage against animals and creatures.
• Tools: used for mining,harvesting,fishing,etc.

2.Creative mode

In creative mode, players have access to most of the resources and items in the game through the inventory menu, and can place or remove them instantly. Players are able to fly freely around the game world, do not take environmental or mob damage, and are not affected by hunger. The game mode helps players focus on building and creating large projects.

Other

The games supports modding which from my perspective is a great thing because it gives the game more ways to be played. I always enjoy playing new mods on minecraft.

Adventure maps can be downloaded and be playerd alone or together with your friends on a multyplayer server. (also know as “Adventure Mode”)
