So, you go walking along through your world, axe in hand, innocently chopping down trees, when you hear the twang of a bow from the shadows. You get thrown back by the force of the blow as an arrow lodges in your gut. Taking absolutely no physical damage beyond losing a few hearts, you turn toward where the sound came from. Face it. You are thirty meters away from a skeleton, and there are two creepers between you and the current threat.

You grab your sword, and charge behind a tree just in time. The skeleton then merely advances to where you are and walks out from around it. You hit him wildly and run… where? You’re on the edge of an abyssal cliff. You turn around and, well, the battle begins. You have to hit the skeleton repeatedly, over and over. Finally, you collect the bone and two arrows…

A Big Hit and A Bigger Miss – A Look at LoL’s Newest Champ, Lucian

Okay, as you may or may not know- I’m a HUGE League of Legends fan. While this post will include a lot of LoL specific jargon, just bare with me, as there’s an actually important and more generalized point I’m going to make here.

Riot just released the League of Legends Champion Spotlight video for the new champion, Lucian. Lucian is the first non-debatably black character (finally) and his kit looks rad! As someone who almost always gets stuck with support, I can’t wait to lane with him. Unfortunately, I noticed a few things that are really off-putting in his spotlight.

First off, his one and only skin looks incredibly white washed- but perhaps albino, in which case I have nothing to be upset about. His skin tone doesn’t really look light enough to be albino, but that could just be me. I feel like I should give Riot the…
